As a traditional and well established manufacturer of chocolate and wafer specialities, we produce our delicacies with the utmost care. With the same care and responsibility we act toward the environment – because our sustainable, environmentally acceptable way of working serves as a basis for a liveable environment for future generations!

We place great emphasis on the least possible consumption of resources - starting with the development of new products and production processes as well as the procurement and resource-saving distribution to the end costumers. The avoidance (whenever possible) of emissions and waste as well as the subsequent right disposal is also important to us.

Most of these measures are implemented in the production. The renewal of production facilities provides resource-saving methods, for example we reduced the water and energy consumption by installing cooling water circuits. We organize the transports with great empasis on the reduction of air pollutants through efficient route planning and gradual shift to diesel vehicles with particulate filters.

In that context an active, autonomous insertion of the employees is very important to achieve and guarantee a lasting effect on the improvement of the environment.

Since 2007, Pischinger is a certified ‘Ökoprofit’-company. This prize is awarded by the city of Vienna to approved companies from the manufacturing sector, which can demonstrate a comprehensive environmental management. The project aims at efficient use of resources and raw materials as well as optimization of production processes and avoidance of waste.
